Hi all!
Your ESAA Southeast VP here! I hope everyone is fairing 2025 ok. It looks to be a challenging one! Below are some survey questions in regards to the ESAA National Specialty. The feedback will be helpful to the National Specialty Committee in their work finding and evaluating sites for the next few years and in event planning.
1. What did you think about the two new events added in 2024 - Puppy Sweepstakes and Scent Trial - and should they be offered on a regular basis?
2. What did you think of the Gun Dog Sweeps and should it be offered on a regular basis?
3. What did you think of the 2024 schedule - too busy or just right? If too busy, what would you suggest for change?
4. What did you think of the 2024 Wendell August Forge trophies?
5. How important is it for a National hotel to have sufficient grass for walking dogs?
6. Would you be in favor of ESAA holding a National Specialty at Purina Farms?
7. Generally speaking, the cost of renting a ballroom at a hotel is more expensive than renting tenting. Would you be in favor of holding the National Specialty outdoors (assuming temperature and weather are satisfactory) if it meant ESAA could lower entry fees?
Any other thoughts, ideas or input is much appreciated. Please try to have your input back to me by the end of January.
Also, if you have not renewed your membership yet, Please do so soon! (https://www.esaa.com/membership-renewal/)
