The Central Carolina English Setter Club (CCESC) is hard at work with AKC trying to expand their area to include the entire Southeast. This is an attempt to increase English Setter events across the Southeast since many other clubs in the region have disbanded and would have a hard time gaining appropriate members to re-start the club. The CCESC is calling on the English setter fanciers of the Southeast to join the club in order to help AKC see that the interest and the need for this regional club change is needed. Once we've received enough new members outside of our current membership, per our conversation with the AKC, they would be inclined to expand our region.
